Rempah is a mix of spices cooked into a paste as one of the basic seasonings of Southeast Asia. There are endless dishes based on rempah, the most popular are laksa, curry chicken, satay, and rendang. To make Southeast Asian dishes rock, making rempah is essential. There is NO standard recipe for it. It is not a scientific equation, but an art for creative minds.
